The Endwell community is mourning the heartbreaking loss of Connor Joseph Verdoliva, whose passing has left an immeasurable void in the hearts of his family, friends, classmates, teachers, and teammates. Though his time on earth was far too short, Connor’s life was filled with joy, laughter, friendship, and a spirit that touched everyone fortunate enough to know him.
Born on July 21, 2013, in Oswego, New York, Connor was a beloved son, grandson, nephew, cousin, friend, and student. He attended Maine-Endwell Middle School, where he was known not only for his academic efforts but also for his kindness, sense of humor, and ability to brighten the day of those around him.
Connor’s greatest passions centered around sports and spending time with friends and family. A talented multi-sport athlete, he proudly competed with Flash and Coal-Miner Soccer Clubs while also participating in Maine-Endwell Baseball, Wrestling, and Soccer programs. He previously played travel baseball with the Southern Tier Stingers, where his dedication, teamwork, and enthusiasm earned him the admiration of coaches and teammates alike.
Away from the playing fields, Connor embraced life with the same energy and excitement. He loved fishing, riding his bike through the neighborhood with friends, playing video games, enjoying ice cream, and savoring his favorite meal—spaghetti and meatballs. It was often the simple moments that brought him the greatest happiness, and those memories now serve as treasured gifts for the people who loved him.
Family members remember Connor for his infectious smile and unforgettable personality. He had a natural gift for making people laugh, often pulling goofy faces and finding ways to bring joy to any room he entered. His humor, kindness, and loving heart made him someone people were naturally drawn to, and his absence is deeply felt by all who knew him.
Connor leaves behind his loving parents, Ashley Deveney and Nicholas Tellefsen, who cherished him beyond words. He was the center of their world, and the love they shared will remain forever. He is also lovingly remembered by his grandparents, extended family members, teachers, coaches, classmates, and countless friends whose lives were enriched by knowing him.
As the Endwell community comes together to honor Connor’s life, they do so with both profound sadness and immense gratitude. Though his passing brings unimaginable grief, his legacy of laughter, friendship, determination, and love will continue to live on in the hearts of those he touched.
Connor Joseph Verdoliva will forever be remembered, deeply missed, and eternally loved. His bright spirit will continue to guide and inspire all who carry his memory forward.
